Vein’s on Baby’s Head

vein on baby's head

My 4 month old baby has a blue line across his nose that I assume is a vein. Will it go away? Is this common?

Your son’s blue line is indeed a vein. As your son’s skin matures these veins will slowly become less visible. My oldest daughter had a similar vein on her forehead when she was a newborn. Like most children her vein was no longer visible after 1 to 2 years of age.
